Puzzle notes
The list introduces a compact set of astronomy and spaceflight terms: planet, rocket, comet, orbit, galaxy, meteor, Saturn, moon, star, and space. It deliberately mixes objects, a motion, a named planet, and a vehicle so learners can discuss how the terms differ instead of treating them as interchangeable space words.
For a classroom follow-up, ask learners to separate natural objects from human-made technology, then explain where orbit belongs. Saturn provides a specific example of a planet while galaxy encourages discussion at a much larger scale. These comparisons turn the completed puzzle into a short vocabulary review without claiming to be a complete astronomy lesson.
This Standard 16 × 16 grid adds down-right and down-left diagonals to horizontal and vertical placements. No answer runs backwards, but spotting the diagonal six-letter words takes a more systematic scan.
Use the answer-sheet option for lessons, homework packs, or an early-finisher activity.
