Ticket, passport, hotel, train, airport, luggage, map, journey, camera, and taxi form a practical core of travel vocabulary. The set includes documents, places, transport, an object for navigation, and a word for the trip itself. It is a recognition activity, not a complete phrasebook or travel-safety guide.
Language learners can extend the puzzle by building short questions such as Where is the hotel? or Do I need a ticket? Sorting the answers by when they might be needed—before departure, during a journey, or on arrival—helps move the words from isolated spelling practice into usable context.
The 16 × 16 Standard grid includes diagonal answers. Map and taxi are short, but similar travel-related context makes it important to follow every letter through passport, airport, luggage, and journey.
Use the printed grid as a lesson warm-up, then ask learners to use the words in short travel sentences.
Play by dragging from the first letter to the last, or use the arrow keys with Space or Enter. Want different words? Create a custom word search without an account.
